Chapter 1 America

America has always been advanced.

There was a child, he thought himself as the wisest person in the world. He decides to make a truly wise, intellectual, and well-read man look like an idiot.

So he goes to the wise man, a sparrow in his hand, he covers and clasps, and asks, “Is the
sparrow alive or dead?”

If the wise man replies, “The sparrow is alive,” the arrogant child will kill the sparrow.

If the wise man replies, “The sparrow is dead,” the arrogant child will set his prey free.

The wise man, above the child, towering in wisdom, soft-spoken in speech, says, “My child, you see, the sparrow’s life, much like your own life, its destiny, as your life, your destiny, is in your hands.”

The destiny of America is in America’s hands.

Always was. Always will be.

The mayor of New York City in 2001, Mike Bloomberg, after the attacks in September, when a Saudi Muslim gave him a check for millions of dollars along with a mouthful of wrong words, returned the check to him. Mr. Bloomberg is a fighter for all the right reasons.

America has always been advanced and there was no terrorism in 1776.

After the September 11, 2001 WTC, Pentagon, and possibly the Senate attacks, the world's number 1 at the time, Garry Kasparov, after the game was asked by an audience member, "Why didn't you play this move and then continue with whatever?" and the Russian psychology (even though he is from Azerbaijan) is that well if the audience member knows so much about how to play chess then be my guest, you play.

Also, at the event two GMs were there. One American. The other someplace in the world. The second one says to Garry, something like, you were awesome, I wish you would have played to the end, to which Garry lowers his head a little, smiling slightly, trying not to show his annoyance. The American says to Garry Kasparov, something like, you played brilliantly as usual and it was a beautiful, well-played game, well, at least, you got the draw that you wanted, to which Garry smiles a bigger smile.

Lesson learned: Not everything is about you or the talkative audience member. You have to work super hard to become the best of the best and don't let an amateur in the audience affect you. The reason why they are the talkative audience member is because they didn't spend enough time training. Sometimes you just have to say and do what is needed to respect and give to the number 1 in the world.
